High granularity model of a photovoltaic array under complex shadow conditions

Résumé

This paper presents a model of Photovoltaic (PV) array under complex partially shading conditions integrating characteristics of shadow area and combination of direct and indirect radiations. The area of the shadow on PV module is deducted through of image processing. The Hybrid Bond-Graph (HBG) facilitates the energy exchange between the different parts of the PV module justifying the high granularity of the tool. The proposed model is validated through experimental tests under shading conditions
